Our Mission
At Water of Life CDC, we are dedicated to uplifting low-to-moderate-income families and youth through transformative programs and services. We also focus on neighborhood rehabilitation and restoration with the goal of creating safe, vibrant communities where families and young people can thrive.
We provide a comprehensive range of community services, family support resources, and youth development programs designed to empower individuals, and strengthen families.
Our Goal
To promote and enhance the capacity to enrich the day-to-day lives of everyone within our community and inspire individuals to value, discover, and take advantages of resources that will strengthen the social and environmental vitality of the community.

OUR COMMUNITY IN ACTION
SUPPORT THE YOUTH IN OUR COMMUNITY
AFTER SCHOOL / SUMMER PROGRAMS:
"Royal Kingdom Vocational Summer Program" (9 weeks)
Mid-June to Mid-August, Monday through Friday from 10am until 2pm. This program is for youth aged 12-18. And will focus on Social and Emotional Wellness, Personal Development, Arts & Crafts, Fitness, Sports, Music, Dance & Exercise, Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, and Youth Mentorship.
OUR STEM INITIATIVE
EmpowerCAD," a comprehensive Computer-Aided Design (CAD) training program targeting inner-city and underprivileged youth. This initiative aims to bridge the digital talent gap and equip participants with essential skills, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and enhancing their employability in a technology-driven workforce, such as engineering and design.
-All programs will be held at Water of Life Fellowship Church of God in Christ facility located at 15340 Puritan Avenue Detroit, MI 48227.
-Breakfast and lunch meals will be provided for all participants.
-Transportation will be available to and from the program location.

HELP SUPPORT FAMILIES IN NEED WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY
Water of Life Community Development Center is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those facing hardships, especially during the holiday season. Our goal is to organize a Thanksgiving food giveaway event to provide meals to at least 100 families in our community who may be struggling to meet their basic needs.
We will collaborate with local grocery stores, food banks, community organizations, and generous individuals, to secure the necessary food resources at discounted rates or through donations. Families will be provided with pre-packaged meals, including a turkey, vegetables, canned goods, and other traditional Thanksgiving items.
By partnering with us as a sponsor, your company will have the unique opportunity to engage with the local community that will attract hundreds of attendees, providing a fantastic platform for your brand to be seen and recognized by local families and community members.
